Introducing the Cartek Fog Light Switch Control Unit - a must-have accessory for your kit car or import, ensuring compliance with the latest IVA regulations regarding rear fog lights. This compact device is designed to be an affordable and convenient solution. Previously, a rear fog light could simply be switched on and off using a dedicated switch, as long as the switch was powered by the headlamp circuit, which satisfied the requirement that the rear fog light should only come on if the headlights were on. The updated regulation now stipulates that the fog light switch must also turn off and remain off when the headlights are switched off, to prevent drivers from accidentally leaving their fog lights on. This small, unobtrusive unit is roughly the size of a thumb and can be easily installed between the fog light switch and the vehicle's headlamp wiring. Detailed wiring instructions are included for simple installation. Compatible with all LED and bulb fog lights (maximum power consumption 12V, 21W). Please note: Fog light switch is not included in this product.
