Cartek's GT Solid State Battery Isolator is a state-of-the-art electronic device, securely enclosed within an aluminium casing for exceptional resistance to external elements such as shock, vibration, dirt and moisture. Employing advanced MOSFET technology, this isolator ensures safe and spark-free disconnection of your vehicle's electrical system while adhering to both FIA and MUK regulations (including the recently updated rule 8.1.1 for 2022). The device offers reliable operation with no moving parts and is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for various automotive applications, including those with standard ECUs or classic cars without an ECU. It features built-in microprocessors that not only control the isolation circuitry but also continuously monitor internal temperature and current for secure automatic shutdown in emergency situations or electrical failures. For ease of installation, the GT isolator is designed to be mounted onto the vehicle chassis and placed as near to the battery as feasible, allowing for minimal power cable lengths. With a standard setup requiring just one external kill button and a single internal on/off switch, both controlled using low-voltage wiring, this kit includes the GT isolator, blue external kill button, blue internal on/off button, necessary wiring, and location stickers for both external and internal buttons.
