BMC CDA Carbon Dynamic Airbox - Type 3

The BMC CDA Carbon Dynamic Airbox (Type 3) is a state-of-the-art air filtration system, crafted from premium carbon material. It consists of a cylindrical carbon airbox, a washable filter element, and a length of black alloy ducting pipe (60 cm). This innovative airbox design has been rigorously tested on both race tracks and dynamometers to enhance the power output and torque of your engine. The BMC CDA features a patented internal airflow deflector that ensures cold air is efficiently channeled from outside the vehicle directly into the engine, significantly reducing pressure drop. The carbon airbox's unique design provides improved flow rates over conventional airboxes, resulting in superior performance for your vehicle. This universal fit system comes with all necessary components to fit most vehicles with minimal modifications required. However, some applications may need additional brackets or adaptors depending on the specific vehicle make and model. The CDA airbox is available in three distinct sizes, each designed to suit different engine capacities: 1. Type 1: Ideal for engines up to 1600cc with outlets measuring 60mm (inlet) and 65mm (outlet). The overall length of this airbox is 185mm. 2. Type 2: Engineered for engines over 1600cc, with outlets sized at 70mm (inlet) and 85mm (outlet). This airbox has a total length of 200mm. 3. Type 3: Specifically tailored for 6-cylinder and V8 engines, featuring an inlet size of 80mm, an outlet size of 100mm, and a total length of 200mm. Please note that this is a universal kit, meaning some level of customization or fabrication may be necessary for fitting on certain vehicles.
