The Pro-Bolt Tapered Allen Head Stainless Steel Bolts in M10 x 1.25mm x 80mm (23mm) are manufactured from high-quality 316 Stainless Steel, offering superior strength and corrosion resistance.

These bolts undergo a rigorous buffing process to achieve a mirror finish, eliminating the need for polishing. The material is specified as follows:

• Composition: 316 Stainless Steel
• Properties: Enhanced formability and strength through the addition of elements like Nickel, Molybdenum, Titanium, Copper, Carbon, and Nitrogen.
• Corrosion resistance: Provided by a chromium-rich oxide film that offers strong protection against corrosion. This protective film is extremely thin and will self-repair if sufficient oxygen is available.

The corrosion-resistant properties of 316 Stainless Steel make it suitable for low-stress applications where a durable finish is required. Additionally, it has good resistance to oxidation in intermittent service up to 870°C and in continuous service up to 925°C. However, continuous use at 425-860°C is not recommended.

Torque and Lubrication:

• Use torque values specified by your equipment manufacturer or refer to the listed values.
• Apply anti-seize or copper-based paste to threads to prevent galling (where friction can cause two stainless steel components to bond together).
• If threadlock is to be used, a medium-grade is recommended.
