Compatible with 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines featuring standard, electronic or high-performance/racing ignitions, it offers unrivalled precision for a wide range of motorsport applications. Crafted from anodized aluminium and silver-painted steel, the tachometer's mounting cups, bezel and control shield exude a distinctive, racing aesthetic. Positioned atop a pedestal base that can be easily adjusted to suit the driver's preference, this gauge boasts a 270-degree sweep and a 1.625-inch external amber shift light. The illumination point of the shift light is customisable via a switch on the face of the gauge. Key Features: - Analogue gauge design - 0-10,000 RPM range - 5-inch (127mm) diameter - 270-degree sweep - 1.625-inch external amber shift light with adjustable illumination point - Silver face with silver bezel and black figures - No rev limiter, memory recall or playback Please note: This tachometer features an air core meter, which may appear to leave the zero mark when power is disconnected. Upon reconnection of 12V power, the pointer will correctly align itself. For increased accuracy at low RPM and reduced pointer flutter, models featuring two or three buttons employ advanced microcontroller circuitry. On engines with 0.5, 1, or 1.5 pulse per rev ignitions, a brief pause in pointer movement may occur as RPM is rapidly decreased.
