The ATL Saver fuel cell range, produced from a unique, robust plastic alloy (FIA Homologation No. ATL-565), is designed to provide reliable performance and safety. Each cell is equipped with comprehensive foam baffling to minimise fuel slosh and suppress potential explosions. All FIA FT3-1999 approved cells come standard with the required FIA label. The 40 Litre model boasts a 6 x 10 top plate featuring: two -6 JIC fuel pickups, one -6 JIC rollover vent valve, and two 2.25-inch non-return filler necks (interchangeable for quick fill applications). The ATL Viton non-return flapper valve is included, along with pre-markings for VDO fuel level senders (sender not included). For carburettor-based fuel systems, the 40 Litre ATL Saver Cell is ideal. For use on fuel injected systems, an external fuel catchtank/swirlpot (sold separately) is necessary. The standard supply comes with ATL yellow baffle foam, suitable for petrol applications. For diesel and methanol fuels, blue foam can be provided upon request. Below is a table displaying the fuel cell dimensions and the external dimensions of the corresponding alloy container (sold separately). It should be noted that fuel cells can expand up to 2-4% when exposed to fuel. Alloy containers are available in various sizes, as well as spill trays to fit the saver cells; these are mandatory for in-car filling. Please remember that all ATL Saver Cells comply with FIA FT3-1999 regulations and are supplied with the necessary FIA labels.
