The ATL Saver Cell is a 120 litre capacity fuel cell, approved by the FIA (FIA Homologation No ATL-565) and manufactured from a unique, robust plastic alloy. It comes fully foam baffled to minimise fuel slosh and suppress explosions. The FIA FT3-1999 approval is confirmed with an accompanying label. The 120 litre Saver Cell features a 6 x 10 top plate that includes: two -6 JIC fuel pickups, one -6 JIC rollover vent valve, two 2.54 cm non-return filler necks (which can be replaced with alternative options for quick-fill applications), and an ATL Viton non-return flapper valve. It is pre-marked for VDO fuel level sender integration (the sender is not included). In comparison, the 20 litre version boasts a 4 x 6 top plate with one -6 JIC fuel pickup and filter, one -6 JIC rollover vent, and a 5 cm filler neck equipped with a safety valve and cap. Notably, ATL Saver Cells are suitable for use with carburettor-based fuel systems. For fuel injected systems, an external fuel catchtank/swirlpot is required (sold separately). The cells are supplied standard with ATL yellow baffle foam, ideal for petrol applications. Alternatively, blue foam is available upon request for diesel and methanol fuels. Dimensions of the fuel cell and associated alloy container (sold separately) are provided in the table below. Be advised that fuel cells can expand 2-4% when exposed to fuel. Alloy containers and spill trays, mandatory for in-car filling, are available for each saver cell size. All ATL Saver Cells come with the FIA FT3-1999 approval and the appropriate FIA label.
