The ATL Saver fuel cell - 170 litre capacity is a robust, high-quality product, manufactured from an exclusive, durable plastic alloy (FIA Homologation No. ATL-565). Each fuel cell comes equipped with comprehensive foam baffling to reduce fuel slosh and minimize explosion risk. It holds the esteemed FIA FT3-1999 approval and is accompanied by a necessary FIA label. The 170 litre model features a 6 x 10 top plate, which incorporates several components: two -6 JIC fuel pickups; one -6 JIC rollover vent valve; two 2.25-inch non-return filler necks (one of which is removable for easy replacement with alternative fittings); and an ATL Viton non-return flapper valve. Pre-marking for a VDO fuel level sender is also included (sender not included). In contrast, the 20 litre version boasts a 4 x 6 top plate that encompasses one -6 JIC fuel pickup and filter; one -6 JIC rollover vent; and a single 2.25-inch filler neck with safety valve and cap. These fuel cells are suitable for use in carburettor-based fuel systems. To adapt them for fuel injected systems, an external fuel catchtank or swirlpot, available separately, must be installed. The standard fuel cell comes equipped with ATL yellow baffle foam, designed for petrol applications. Alternatively, blue foam is available upon request for diesel and methanol fuels.
