The Automotive Plumbing Solutions (APS) Aluminium In-Line Fuel Filter with 6 JIC fittings is a premium quality component designed to ensure smooth fuel flow in your vehicle's engine. Its high capacity design enables efficient filtration, helping prevent contaminants from reaching sensitive engine components. The filter boasts a fine mesh filter element that can be easily removed and cleaned for reuse, extending its lifespan and reducing waste. This 2-piece aluminium body housing features a 30 micron filter element as standard. However, if you require a coarser filtration level, a 120 micron filter element is available as an optional accessory. The 30 micron filter is suitable for use with both carburettor and fuel injection systems, while the 120 micron filter provides protection between the fuel tank and fuel pump. By installing it at this point, you can effectively shield your fuel pump from harmful contaminants that could damage its operation. The compact design of this in-line filter measures 38mm in length (excluding end fittings) and features a diameter of 32mm. It comes equipped with JIC male fittings available in -6 or -8 sizes, allowing for easy integration into your fuel system's existing configuration. Additionally, the unit offers push-on connections in either 5/16" (8mm) or 3/8" (10mm) for further flexibility and ease of installation.
