Introducing Amsoil Break In Oil - a specifically designed formulation for new and rebuilt engines that omits friction modifiers to facilitate piston ring-to-bore bedding. By employing this break in oil during the crucial initial stages of high performance or racing engine operation, you can maximise overall performance by ensuring optimal compression, ultimately leading to heightened power output. Featuring a robust zinc and phosphorus anti wear additive package, this product protects valuable components such as cam lobes, lifters and rockers during that critical first start up phase. Furthermore, it boasts high film strength for the protection of main, big end and cam bearings throughout the process. It is essential to utilise Amsoil Break In Oil during the running-in period (up to a maximum of 1000 miles), after which point you should drain the oil and replace it with the recommended grade oil by your engine builder.
