The AIM MyChron5 S 2T Dash Logger / Kart Lap Timer is a state-of-the-art GPS tracking system designed specifically for kart racing enthusiasts. It boasts an upgraded 25Hz GPS frequency, providing improved precision accuracy of approximately 45 cm (1.5 ft), enabling racers to monitor their performance with greater detail and reliability on the track. This advanced device is equipped with a powerful processor that delivers data two times faster than its predecessor, allowing for seamless monitoring of vital engine parameters such as speed, lap times (including split and predictive), gear, temperature, RPM, and data from optional add-ons like the LCU-One Lambda Controller and MyChron Expansion module. The MyChron5 S 2T comes with two temperature sensor inputs, allowing users to choose between measuring water temperature, under spark plug cylinder head temperature (CHT), or exhaust gas temperature (EGT). It is supplied with one high-quality M12 KF type EGT sensor. For those who require additional sensors, the MyChron Expansion module provides versatility in expanding the system's capabilities. With a redesigned Wi-Fi module and faster firmware, data downloads are now 5 times quicker, ensuring efficient post-race analysis using the professional Race Studio software (completely free to download). The unit's high-resolution graphical display provides clear and easy-to-read numerical readouts for lap times, lap number, RPM, and one temperature value. It also features a robust housing with anti-scratch non-reflecting polycarbonate screen and wider display, ensuring excellent visibility even in challenging conditions. MyChron5 S 2T's fully configurable pages allow racers to define as many pages as needed, displaying graphic bars or just digits via software or directly on the dash. The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts display brightness based on environmental lighting for optimal viewing in all conditions. If your kart is a shift kart, you can opt to show the calculated gear number while driving. This device features a long-lasting rechargeable lithium battery with approximately 10 hours of runtime and easy charging. An optional external power lead connection is available for those who prefer connecting to their karts' 12v battery. Five RGB shift lights can be customised to each gear, while alarm LEDs provide real-time RPM monitoring and flexible alarm settings. Connecting via Wi-Fi enables users to download data to their PCs, access online measures, upgrade firmware, transmit parameters using the Data Key, or utilize the SmartyCam HD camera for professional videos with real-time data overlaid. With its advanced features and capabilities, the AIM MyChron5 S 2T Dash Logger / Kart Lap Timer is a valuable tool for serious racers looking to optimize their performance on the track.
