The AIM Motorsport SmartyCam HD/GP/3 Corsa/3 GP External Power Cable is an essential accessory that extends your recording capabilities by enabling you to power your SmartyCam HD, GP HD, SmartyCam 3 GP, or Corsa camera externally from your vehicle's 12V system. This 2 meter long cable ensures the camera remains powered, providing uninterrupted footage during track days, races, and everyday driving. In addition to powering the camera, this external power cable also supports an external microphone (sold separately) with a female 3.5mm jack plug connection. Position the microphone in a more convenient location for improved sound quality by shielding it from wind noise or directly connect it to an on-board radio or intercom system (additional cable may be required depending on your radio/intercom setup). Crafted with high-quality leads and robust connectors, this durable cable guarantees reliable performance. Please note that this external power cable is not necessary if you are connecting the SmartyCam to a logger or dash unit as the camera will receive power via the CAN connection.
