The AIM Motorsport MXm Compact Dash Display is a cutting-edge racing tool designed to provide racers with vital real-time information about their vehicle's performance. This compact unit boasts advanced data logging capabilities, enabling drivers to monitor their vehicle's behaviour and optimise their own driving skills. With the ability to acquire and display data from various sources, including the ECU, internal accelerometer and gyro, GPS receiver, analogue/digital inputs, and pre-defined math channels, the MXm ensures all essential information is readily available. The device boasts two CAN connections for seamless integration with a wide range of compatible ECUs, along with four analogue and two digital inputs for additional data input flexibility. The MXm Dash Display features an integrated shift light system featuring five fully customisable LEDs, which can be tailored to each gear, and two further LEDs that function as warning alarms. Users can configure these alerts based on specific parameters, LED colours, and even choose between solid or flashing styles, with adjustable frequencies. The display showcases excellent customisation options. The high-resolution liquid crystal screen enables users to select the displayed information and switch between seven available backlight colours for optimal readability in various lighting conditions. The ambient light sensor maintains optimal brightness levels for easy reading regardless of external conditions. Drivers can prioritise important information on the screen, scrolling through multiple pages as needed. After each session, drivers can access data such as best lap summaries and max/min RPM, speed, and temperatures directly on the device or wirelessly transfer this data to a laptop or PC up to 50 meters away for more detailed analysis. As part of AIM's modular system, the MXm Dash Display is upgradeable with additional CAN devices such as the LCU-One CAN lambda controller and various SmartyCam 3 HD cameras, ensuring maximum functionality.
