The AIM MXS 1.3 Dash Logger is a cutting-edge motorsport instrument designed for enthusiasts who demand high performance and customisation. With its compact 5" TFT display, this device offers a configurable user interface that caters to various racing categories. The dash logger acquires data from your ECU, GPS module (included), analogue/digital inputs, and predefined math channels. By adding up to eight expansion modules, you can further enhance the system's capabilities. This 5" display offers a more space-efficient solution compared to the MXP's 6" display or the MXG's 7" wide display, making it an ideal choice for cockpits with limited space. The kit includes a GPS09 module, wiring harness with military-spec motorsport connectors, data lead, and RaceStudio3 software (free download). The MXS 1.3 features two digital outputs, each capable of delivering 1 amp at 12 volts. These can be configured to control external systems based on analogue or digital input values. Applications include activating/de-activating cooling fans, circulation pumps, and additional lights. The high-contrast 5" TFT display is fully customisable using dedicated software. Create multiple pages/displays, choose different fonts and dimensions for information, and switch between pages via one or two pushbuttons. An ambient light sensor maintains optimal backlight levels. Six configurable RGB alarm LEDs allow you to set conditions and colours. Choose from solid or flashing alarms with adjustable frequencies and accompanying text messages. Customisable multi-coloured RGB shift lights cater to individual gear requirements. The GPS09 module facilitates lap time calculation and track position analysis. With over 200 pre-loaded world tracks, the system identifies start/finish line coordinates upon startup. Additional tracks can be added via the RaceStudio3 Track Manager software. GPS cable lengths include 0.5m, 1.3m, 2m, or 4m, with roof versions available for easy installation on covered cars. The MXS 1.3 offers WiFi connectivity for wireless configuration and data downloads. After initial setup via USB, there's no need to reconnect the cable. CAN output enables direct communication with your vehicle's ECU (standard or racing). Two analog camera inputs support mirror display functionality via pushbutton command or event management. Lightweight aluminium military-spec motorsport connectors ensure durability and reliability. Expand the system using built-in CAN bus capabilities, adding options such as SmartyCam HD cameras, Channel Expansion, TC Hub, LCU-One Lambda Controller, and Memory Module.
