AIM Motorsport Solo 2 GPS Lap Timer

The AIM Solo 2 is a cutting-edge GPS lap timer that offers unparalleled accuracy and speed for tracking your lap times. Utilising advanced GPS technology, this device can connect to three satellite constellations (GPS, Glonass and Galileo), significantly enhancing data speed and positioning precision. As a result, the Solo 2 boasts an impressive startup time of just a few seconds and records lap times to within two hundredths of a second. The Solo 2's display features a range of customisable backlight colours, allowing you to choose one that suits your preferences. The high contrast, sharp display ensures easy readability of the data, even in challenging lighting conditions. With pre-installed data for over 3,000 tracks across the globe, the Solo 2 instantly recognises its location and sets up automatically. If your chosen track is not among these preloaded options, the device enters auto-learning mode to create a custom layout based on your car's position. The enhanced GPS technology also supports predictive lap timing functionality, enabling you to view real-time comparisons of current laps with your best lap times. The LED indicators provide visual feedback on whether you're ahead or behind your personal benchmark. In addition to circuit racing applications, the Solo 2 is suitable for point-to-point events and performance tests such as 0-60 mph runs. Post-session analysis is facilitated by the Solo 2's integrated Wi-Fi capability, allowing you to transfer data securely to a laptop or computer up to 50m away without the need for additional connectors or cables. You can then utilise the AIM Race Studio 3 software for comprehensive data analysis. The included kit contains: Aim Solo 2 GPS Lap Timer, power cable with car lighter socket, power cable with UK AC adapter, mounting bracket with screws, Race Studio software (free download), and an AIM sticker.
