The AIM Motorsport MyChron5 S 2T is the latest iteration of our revolutionary datalogger, specifically tailored for kart racing enthusiasts. This advanced system comes equipped with a range of impressive upgrades from its predecessor, including a 25Hz GPS frequency that boasts improved precision accuracy of approximately 45 cm (1.5 m to 0.6 ft). The redesigned Wi-Fi module is currently undergoing firmware testing to increase download speeds by five times, while the more powerful processor ensures faster data processing and the ability to support a multitude of new features. The inertial platform has also been upgraded to feature nine axes, providing the foundation for the development of numerous useful math channels. The MyChron5 S 2T is a high-resolution graphical display that records kart engine parameters and lap data, offering a comprehensive view of your performance on the track. With built-in 25Hz GPS, this system logs and stores essential information such as speed, lap times (including split and predictive), gear, temperature, rpm, and data from optional accessories like the LCU-One Lambda Controller or MyChron Expansion module. This model includes two temperature sensor inputs, allowing for accurate measurement of water temperature, under spark plug cylinder head temperature (CHT), or exhaust gas temperature (EGT). One sensor is supplied with your purchase: choose between an M5 or M10 water temperature sensor, an under-plug CHT sensor, or an EGT sensor (standard M5 or M12 to suit KF Engine Type). The optional second sensor enables further customisation and analysis. MyChron5 S 2T features include integrated GPS with automatic track recognition, a robust housing with a wider display for enhanced readability, configurable pages, an ambient light sensor for optimal viewing in various lighting conditions, calculated gear number, and a wide display with multicolour backlight for maximum data visibility. This system boasts a rechargeable lithium battery that provides up to 10 hours of power, eliminating the need for traditional batteries. It is easily recharged and features a magnetic basement for convenient attachment to your kart. An optional external power lead connection can be used if desired. The MyChron5 S 2T also includes five RGB shift lights that can be configured for each gear, with adjustable RPM threshold values. Alarms are fully customisable, allowing you to define the situation that triggers them, their LED behaviour when activated, and the conditions for disabling them. With Wi-Fi connectivity, you can effortlessly download your data to your PC, access real-time measures online, upgrade firmware, transmit parameters using the Data Key, or through fast Wi-Fi connection. Additional modules such as the LCU-One Lambda controller and MyChron Expansion offer even more information for comprehensive performance analysis. To further enhance your karting experience, the SmartyCam HD camera captures professional videos with real-time data overlaid on the footage. This system is perfect for analyzing your technique and identifying areas for improvement to help you achieve peak performance.
