The Turbosmart Kompact Universal Blow Off Valve is a compact, high-quality replacement for your car's factory blow-off valve (BOV)/dump valve. Designed to be a direct bolt-on option for easy installation, it boasts superior flow and durability compared to weaker OE plastic components. It is suitable for performance engines up to 400 HP and is available in various valve types to suit your custom needs. The Kompact Series BOV's are constructed from a robust billet aluminium body and precision-matched brass piston, eliminating the need for O-ring piston seals that are prone to failure in other designs. This results in improved responsiveness and an extended service life. This universal 34mm Kompact BOV comes with a choice between Dual-Port and Plumb-Back configurations. The Dual-Port design vents 50% of the charge-air into the atmosphere for a noticeable turbo whoosh at high boost levels while also recycling the remaining 50% back into the intake, striking a balance between performance and noise. Alternatively, the Plumb-Back valve fully recirculates all the compressed charge-air back into the intake system for a stealth approach to extra performance without additional unwanted attention and noise. This universal option can replace factory Bosch or Denso type valves found in various VAG, Ford, Saab, and Porsche applications, depending on the specific dimensions of the original valve. For vehicles where ECU control over the BOV/dump valve is required, Turbosmart offers Kompact EM (Electro-Mechanical) valves that offer similar Dual-Port or Plumb-Back charge-air flow options but replace vacuum-operated activation with a solenoid and pressure control system for seamless integration with the OE factory management system. The Turbosmart Kompact Universal Blow Off Valve is an ideal choice for car enthusiasts seeking a simple, reliable upgrade to enhance their vehicle's performance while retaining the original design aesthetics.
