The Turbosmart Kompact Universal Blow Off Valve is a superior alternative to your car's factory blow-off valve (BOV), providing enhanced durability and improved flow rates. It serves as a direct, easy-to-install replacement for your OE plastic parts, making it ideal for performance engines up to 400 HP. This compact BOV is engineered from strong lightweight billet aluminium and features a precision tolerance brass piston. This design eliminates the need for O-ring piston seals found in other valves, resulting in superior responsiveness and a longer service life. The Kompact Series is available as universal, turbo-specific, or vehicle-specific (Shortie - flanged 2 or 3 bolt fitting) options, catering to various applications. It features Dual-Port or Plumb-Back configurations depending on your preference for performance and noise level. The Dual-Port valve offers a 50/50 split between charge-air recirculation into the intake and venting into the atmosphere, providing a noticeable turbo whoosh at high boost levels while remaining relatively quiet at lower settings. On the other hand, the Plumb-Back valve fully recirculates all compressed charge-air back into the intake system for a stealthier approach to extra performance with minimal additional attention and noise.
