The AP Racing Vertical Dual Circuit Hydraulic Handbrake with Diff Release is designed for professional use, particularly when paired with the appropriate CP5540 series master cylinders (sold separately). This hydraulic handbrake features two distinct circuits that operate at different pressure levels. As such, it can be utilised to control both front and rear brake circuits or alternatively, as a handbrake and differential release system. A spring is included within one of the cylinder bores to regulate pressure distribution between the two circuits. By ensuring that the differential is unlocked before the brakes are activated, this design enhances overall control and performance. The positioning of the spring can be customised to suit individual requirements. This handbrake boasts a lightweight base and lever assembly for easy installation and operation. It incorporates a ratchet locking mechanism and fly-off feature that enables smooth and precise control with a 7:1 ratio. This versatile design caters to both locking and fly-off applications. The master cylinder is securely mounted on ball bearings, further enhancing its smoothness and reliability. Please note that this product is supplied without master cylinders; only CP5540 cylinders are compatible for use.
