General Questions

In short, no. We provide a search and comparison service for automotive and performance car parts.

Some advertisers on Compare.Parts pay us commision, some don’t.

Unlike most price comparison sites, we display both and do not differentiate them on the site.

The site has been built by car enthusiasts with over 18 years experience in building high performance cars.

We only list parts from trusted retailers who are specialists in their respective areas.

Our site is not commercially led, we have a lot of retailers on the site who we have added ourselves, which are not monetised, just because we know they are good!

No, we display by cheapest price first regardless of whether the advertiser is paid for or not. Our Autobot (price fetching) tool ensures we get the latest price from the retailer for you, this ensures no bait and switch, and retailers/manufactures cannot control the prices we display on our site.

Retailers/Advertisers cannot pay to get to the top.

The majority of parts on Compare Parts are “universal” meaning they can be used on any car.

We do not display universal car parts under vehicles as we don’t beleive it would represent a good user experience.

We’re constantly adding new cars and new parts. We’re sorry if you can’t find your car, but drop us a message and we will add it to the list of cars to add.

About 90% of the products on Compare.Parts are universal products.

Scroll to the bottom of the specific product page you’d like to review and enter your name, email address and your comments, then click “submit”. It will be sent for approval, just to make sure you haven’t used any inappropriate language. Once approved, your review will appear on the product page. Your email address will not appear on the website.

We’re adding the ability to review Retailers soon! So watch this space.

We’ll do our best to help you source a part for your car. Please contact us with the details. We’ve helped many customers in the past find car parts which they couldn’t find themselves!

That shouldn’t happen!

We created the “Autobot” to fetch prices on product pages if they are older than 24hrs.

The price may have updated in between Autobot fetching the price.

The price may be showing in a different currency, as we convert prices into your local currency based on your IP address.

We aren’t in the position currently to offer sponsorship on cars.

Where possible we include prices that include VAT or Sales tax.

However, we are proud to say we have a global audience, so the amount you pay in VAT/Tax may change.

The exact amount will typically show when you go through to a retailers website, add the product to the basket and checkout.

We are sorry you are not satisfied.

It is never our intention to provide anything less than an excellent service. If your complaint is regarding a purchase, then we would recommend you contact the relevant retailer/manufacturer.

Purchasing Parts, Returns, Shipping

In short, no. We provide a search and comparison service for automotive and performance car parts.

Some advertisers on Compare.Parts pay us commision, some don’t.

Unlike most price comparison sites, we display both and do not differentiate them on the site.

Compare.Parts is a search and comparison engine, as such we don’t sell parts ourselves, we direct you to trusted retailers that do.

We would recommend reviewing the returns policy on the site you are purchasing a product from. Most accept returns hassle-free, some charge a restocking fee.

Please check before you make a purchase.

Compare Parts is a search and comparison site for car parts. As such we do not sell, nor ship parts.

We would recommend clicking through to the manufacturer/retailer and reviewing the retailer.

We list retailers who ship internationally, and those who don’t we put a note so you know.

Each supplier/retailer have different policies regarding cancellations and refunds.

You will need to contact the retailer you purchased the product from to find out their policy and procedure.

Retailers/Manufacturers

Compare.Parts earns a tiny percentage of the money you spend when you click through to a product and make a purchase. It doesn’t affect your purchase price and helps support our running costs.

Only some of the products are monetised on Compare.Parts. We don’t highlight which ones are, and which ones aren’t as we want to remain impartial.

Our priority is not making money (sorry investors) its providing a good experience for our users!

If you are a retailer and would like to get listed on Compare Parts, please visit our get listed page for more details.

Each retailer is vetted, so we will need to arrange a call with you to ensure you meet our minimum criteria to be on the website.

Our aim is to help our community of car enthusiasts and motorsport teams by providing a single place to find aftermarket products.

If you are a brand owner, or retailer and would like to be removed from our website, please contact us and we will comply.

If you do request to be removed off the site, you will forfeit the ability to list your products on Compare.parts in the future.
