The BMC OTA or Oval Trumpet Airbox has been developed to offer a unique solution to mounting positioning with truly maximum performance.

Developing on existing technologies found in the hugely popular CDA filter kits, the OTA provides carbon fibre outer casing on the air filter unit which provides low weight, durability and great appearance. The 5 layer carbon casing also has been designed to offer excellent heat insulation to ensure cool induction air reaches the inlet. The finish of the BMC OTA kit really has to be seen to be believed, with each finished in Italy with acute attention to detail and characteristic flair to ensure optimum fit within the vast majority of engine bays.

Inside the BMC OTA, the principles of the outside continue. The OTA is equipped with layers of special cotton gauze which is then lightly oiled for excellent particle filtration without impacting performance. The Filter cone itself features a patented trumpet shape which increases performance simply by its inherent shape. The trumpet design allows the perfect distribution of airflow throughout the rev range which reduces pressure drop and maintains maximum power when required.

The BMC OTA is a universal type solution therefore a range of diameters are available to suit particular throttle body diameters with an indication of up to and above 1600cc.

Under 1600cc – 167 x 113 x 200
Over 1600cc – 197 x 132 x (Choice of length)

Fitting note: This is a universal kit so will fit almost all vehicles, however it is likely some fabrication will be required. If you are unsure, please search our application specific kits which include fixings and fittings for a straightforward installation.
