• Centralised Power Distribution: The PDM32 consolidates power distribution for up to 32 vehicle circuits into a single, robust module. This reduces wiring harness weight and complexity, minimising potential failure points.
• Enhanced Control: Beyond simple on/off switching, the PDM32 allows precise control over each circuit, including Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) functionality for soft start/stop operation.
• Integrated Data Logging: A powerful data logger is built-in, recording critical parameters from all PDM outputs, ECU data, internal sensors and external inputs. This provides invaluable diagnostic information and performance analysis capabilities.
• ECU Compatibility: The system supports communication with a vast range of Engine Control Units (ECUs), with over 1000 protocols currently available, ensuring seamless integration into existing vehicle systems.

PDM32 Power Outputs – Detailed Specification

The PDM32 offers a versatile array of outputs to accommodate diverse electrical requirements:

• High-Power Outputs (4): Rated up to 20A each, suitable for demanding components.
• Mid-Power Outputs (12): Rated up to 15A each, providing ample capacity for general purpose circuits.
• Low-Power Outputs (12): Rated up to 10A each, ideal for low-current devices and sensors.
• Half-Bridge Outputs (4): Rated up to 35A each, facilitating control of high-current loads with enhanced efficiency.

The total continuous maximum current capacity of the PDM32 is 120A. Each output incorporates comprehensive feedback mechanisms, monitoring for open circuits, short circuits, voltage anomalies and fault retries. User-definable retry parameters allow customisation to suit specific application needs.

PDM32 Inputs

The module also features a range of inputs to monitor vehicle status and driver commands:

• Analogue/Digital Inputs (8): Versatile inputs accepting both analogue and digital signals.
• Digital Only Inputs (4): Dedicated for receiving discrete digital signals.
• Speed Inputs (2): For monitoring vehicle speed from various sources.

The PDM32’s data logging capabilities extend beyond simple circuit status, encompassing:

GPS Integration – GPS09 Module

The optional GPS09 module provides precise lap timing and track mapping functionality. A comprehensive database containing over 4000 race tracks is pre-loaded, simplifying setup at new circuits. The GPS09 module is available with varying cable lengths and mounting options (roof or side entry).

Dash Display Options

This kit includes a vibrant 5” TFT dash display designed to replace traditional dashboard gauges and warning lamps. Displays are also available in 6" and 10" sizes. Choose between “Race” or “Street” icon sets to suit your application. These displays offer fully configurable layouts, providing drivers with critical information at a glance.

Furthermore, the display can function as a reversing camera monitor (camera sold separately), enhancing safety for vehicles with limited rear visibility. Up to two cameras can be connected for front and rear views.

Expandability & Accessories

The PDM32 system is highly expandable, allowing you to tailor it to your specific needs:

• Remote Button CAN Interface Keypads: Available with 4-15 buttons.
• CAN Wireless Wheel 10 Button Plates: Offering 4, 8 or 10 buttons, with optional carbon fibre finish and/or paddle shift functionality.

Physical Characteristics & Connectivity

The PDM32 is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure designed to withstand the demanding conditions of motorsport environments. It’s supplied with a 35-pin AMP connector featuring gold pins for reliable connectivity. Pre-assembled wiring harnesses are available separately for simplified installation.
