The AIM Motorsport PDM32 represents a significant advancement in vehicle electrical system management, offering a comprehensive solution for power distribution and data acquisition. Designed for the demands of motorsport and high-performance applications, this module eliminates the need for traditional fuse boxes and relays, streamlining wiring harnesses while enhancing both reliability and control.

This kit includes the PDM32 unit itself, a 5” TFT display, a roof mount GPS module, and a 4m long GPS cable. It’s a complete system designed to integrate seamlessly into your vehicle's architecture, providing detailed monitoring and control capabilities.

PDM32 Power Outputs

The PDM32 boasts a versatile array of power outputs to accommodate diverse electrical requirements:

• 4 x High-Power Outputs: Rated up to 20A each.
• 12 x Mid-Power Outputs: Rated up to 15A each.
• 12 x Low-Power Outputs: Rated up to 10A each.
• 4 x Half-Bridge Outputs: Rated up to 35A each.

The total continuous maximum current capacity of the PDM32 is 120A. Each output features comprehensive feedback mechanisms, logging data such as open/short circuits, voltage levels, fault retries and retry intervals – all user-definable via the RaceStudio3 software.

Furthermore, each output can be configured to utilise Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for soft start/stop functionality, reducing stress on components and extending their lifespan. All PDM circuits are fully configurable and monitorable through the intuitive RaceStudio3 software interface.

PDM32 Inputs

The PDM32 incorporates a variety of input options to facilitate integration with existing vehicle systems:

• 8 x Analogue/Digital Inputs: Versatile inputs for monitoring various sensor signals.
• 4 x Digital Only Inputs: Dedicated digital signal inputs.

The PDM32 is a powerful data acquisition hub, capable of recording information from multiple sources:

• ECU Data: Compatible with over 1000 different ECU protocols.
• Digital/Analogue Inputs: Records signals from external sensors and switches.
• Internal 9-Axis IMU: Provides inertial measurement data for advanced analysis.
• GPS Module: Enables lap timing, position tracking, and track mapping.
• Expansion Modules: Supports integration of additional AIM modules for extended functionality.
• Push Buttons: Compatible with RIO02 remote input/output modules or CAN keypads.
• PDM Outputs: Logs current draw and status of each output channel individually.
• User-Defined Math Channels: Allows for custom calculations based on logged data.

GPS Module (GPS09)

The included GPS09 module offers precise lap timing and track mapping capabilities. The system features a database containing over 4000 race tracks, automatically recognising the circuit upon arrival. This allows you to focus on driving without manual configuration.

The GPS module is available with various cable lengths to suit different vehicle configurations, and this version features a roof mount for optimal signal reception.

5” TFT Dash Display

This kit includes a 5" TFT display designed to replace traditional dashboard gauges and warning lamps. The display offers fully customisable layouts and can be configured with either “Race” or “Street” icon sets, tailoring the information presented to your specific needs.

The display also functions as a reversing mirror when paired with an optional camera (sold separately), enhancing safety for vehicles with limited rear visibility. Up to two cameras can be connected for front and rear views.

Expandability

The PDM32 system is highly expandable, allowing you to add further functionality through optional accessories:

• Remote Button CAN Interface Keypads (4-15 buttons)
• CAN Wireless Wheel 10 Button Plates (4, 8 or 10 buttons, with carbon fibre options and paddle shift compatibility).

Physical Specifications

The AIM Motorsport PDM32 is housed in a rugged aluminium case designed to withstand the harsh conditions of motorsport environments. It’s supplied with a 35-pin AMP connector featuring gold pins for reliable connectivity.
