Upgrade your car's audio system with the INCARTEC Audi A3 8P Facelift (2006-2013) rear amplified stereo fitting kit, designed for easy installation of a single or double din head unit while retaining original steering wheel controls.

This comprehensive kit includes essential components to ensure seamless integration:

• Double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with bullet connector (21-139K), providing phantom power and a reliable connection.
• Double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12V phantom power from a male bullet connection, adapting the original double Fakra connector to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection.
• Audi Quadlock can steering wheel control interface and audio adapter cable for rear amplified cars (49-Aud-02), which converts the original Quadlock connector to standard ISO connectors. This ensures that your new stereo retains the use of the original radio controls on the steering wheel.

The Canbus steering wheel control interface generates a key present ignition supply to the new stereo, allowing it to turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel. It also generates speed pulse, reverse gear, and handbrake output signals, which are essential for installing multimedia, navigation units, and reverse cameras.

The plug-and-play Quadlock to ISO cable has a built-in high-to-low level adapter for rear amplified speakers. This adapter allows your new stereo to work with the original amplifier, driving all speakers in the car, including the subwoofer. The high-to-low level adapter provides a cleaner audio signal to the amplifier compared to using line output phono leads.

The universal patch lead (49-025) is designed for use with In Car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces and can be used with Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Sony head units. Please note that unbranded or Chinese head units may require a dedicated 49-000 patch lead.

Additionally, this kit includes an Audi A3 (2003-2013) single/double din car audio fascia adapter with removable pocket (50-271), which enables you to change the original radio in your car to a single and double din aftermarket version. This fascia fits Audi A3 (8P) models from 2003 to 2007 and A3 (8P) Facelift/8PL models from 2006 to 2013, with OEM radios featuring rounded corners.

The kit is available in matt black colour and comes with a removable pocket for single din installation. For double din installations, please use fascia 50-702. Please note that the fascia will require a standard 113mm high metal cage as used by most aftermarket head-unit manufacturers. This cage is normally provided with the unit; if not, you will need our cage item number 51-013.

A flush mount pro-fit style fascia is also available (please see 50-271-Pro). For unbranded or Chinese head units, a dedicated 49-000 patch lead is required.
