The AIM MXS 1.3 Dash Logger is a cutting-edge motorsport instrument designed for various motor racing categories, succeeding the widely popular MXS model.

With its compact 5" high-resolution TFT display, it offers an unparalleled level of data acquisition and visualisation, making it perfect for drivers seeking to optimise their performance in tight cockpit environments where space is limited.

This Dash Logger comes with a 2m cable for ease of installation on roof-mounted applications.

The MXS 1.3 acquires and displays data from your vehicle's ECU, GPS module (included), as well as analogue/digital inputs and predefined math channels.

It allows you to add up to eight expansion modules for enhanced functionality.

The kit includes a GPS09 module, wiring harness with military-spec connectors, data lead, and RaceStudio3 software (free download) for configuration and analysis of acquired data.

One major difference between the MXS 1.3 and its siblings, the MXG and MXP dash loggers, is its size: a compact 5" display in the MXS, a 6" display in the MXP, and a 7" wide display in the MXG.

The smaller size of the MXS makes it an excellent choice for drivers who need to optimise their installation space without sacrificing performance data or customisation options.

The dash logger comes with multiple GPS09 modules options: 0.5, 1.3, 2m, or 4m cable lengths, or a roof version with cable entry from underneath for easy installation on covered cars.

The GPS module enables lap time calculation and track position analysis, ensuring that you always stay ahead of your competition.

Connecting the MXS 1.3 to your ECU is straightforward: simply use the data lead to connect it to your vehicle's standard or racing ECU.

The system automatically samples and displays a multitude of channels, including RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), temperatures (oil/air/water), oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear, and lambda value (air/fuel ratio).

The list of compatible ECUs is constantly expanding and currently stands at over 1000+ different models, both stock and racing.

The MXS 1.3 features two digital outputs, each capable of delivering up to 1 amp at 12 volts.

You can configure these outputs to control external systems such as additional lights, cooling fans, or circulation pumps based on the value of analogue or digital inputs.

This allows you to automate various processes during your race to optimise your driving experience and overall performance.

With WiFi connectivity, you can wirelessly configure and calibrate your MXS 1.3, eliminating the need for a physical connection once the initial setup is complete.

The WiFi function also enables you to download data directly from your dash logger for detailed analysis of your performance on track.

The built-in CAN output allows you to send messages directly to an existing CAN network, expanding the range of vehicle control possibilities.

Additionally, two analog camera inputs are available for use with mirror cameras, improving rear visibility in cars like the Lotus Exige and other similar models.

The MXS 1.3 comes standard with lightweight aluminium military-spec motorsport connectors for durability and reliability.

You can also expand the system's capabilities by integrating expansion modules such as SmartyCam HD or SmartyCam HD GP cameras, Channel Expansion, TC Hub, LCU-One Lambda Controller, and Memory Module to further enhance its performance data acquisition abilities.
