The AIM MXP 1.3 Dash Logger is a cutting-edge automotive telemetry system with a 6" colour TFT display, offering an enhanced visual experience and expanded data capabilities compared to its predecessor (MXS dash logger). This version is designed for installation on the roof of vehicles and includes a 2m cable.
- The GPS09 module, which comes included with this product, facilitates track lap time calculation and position analysis by connecting via CAN to the MXP 1.3. With more than 200 pre-loaded world tracks and start/finish line coordinates stored in memory, the dash logger can quickly identify its location upon startup, begin sampling lap and split times, and display relevant data on screen.
- The high contrast TFT display provides optimal visibility under varying light conditions, thanks to an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts backlight brightness levels for improved readability. Users can monitor a wide range of engine parameters in real-time, including RPM, speed, water temperature, oil pressure, and more, by configuring freely customisable pages using the extensive library of pre-defined layouts.
- Equipped with 8 analogue inputs, 6 digital inputs, pre-defined math channels, a second CAN bus, and an integrated GPS module, this dash logger offers unparalleled data collection capabilities for motorsport enthusiasts. Additionally, users can configure shift lights, alarm LEDs, and text messages based on various input parameters and conditions to suit their preferences.
- With built-in WiFi connectivity, the MXP 1.3 allows for easy configuration, calibration, and data download without requiring a USB connection. The dash logger also offers two digital outputs that can be triggered by analogue or digital inputs, enabling control over external systems like lights, fans, or circulation pumps when specific events occur.
- This versatile system is suitable for both cars and motorcycles, providing 50% more display area than its predecessor in a similar size package. Two analogue camera inputs are available to switch the display to a mirror camera view when necessary. Connection to the vehicle's ECU (either standard or racing) simplifies setup by allowing direct sampling of multiple channels without requiring additional sensors.
- Optional expansion modules, including channel expansion, thermocouple temperature sensors, and a wide band lambda controller, can be integrated via the built-in CAN bus for even more advanced data analysis and vehicle control possibilities.
