The Samco Diesel and Oil Resistant Straight Silicone Hose, available in a range of colours including the standard colours of red, is designed to meet the highest standards in manufacturing. This fluorosilicone liner-based hose is specially manufactured to resist short-term contact with petrol fluids and vapours, making it ideal for transferring oil or diesel, as well as being used in oil filler neck assemblies or oil breather plumbing. The Samco Standard colours include blue, red, green, yellow, purple, orange, British Racing Green, classic black, and wall thickness varies according to diameter. For diameters 6.5 to 48mm, the wall thickness is 4mm, for diameters 51mm to 83mm it's 5.2mm, and for diamers 89 to 200mm it's 6.5mm. Please note that these hoses are supplied in 1-meter lengths, but special order lengths of 0.5, 2, or 3 meters are available upon request - please call for details. The maximum temperature this hose can withstand is 180 degrees C (356 F). It's essential to note that this hose type is not suitable for permanent fuel or oil transfer (fuel or oil lines) or immersion in fuel or oil.
