The NGK Iridium IX spark plugs take it a step further with premium 0.6mm fine-wire Iridium alloy centre electrodes that are 6x denser than Platinum with a high melting point (2450°C), giving a hard, durable electrode that increases service life. The addition of a tapered-cut ground electrode produces an intense spark with higher ignitability and throttle response. Available in colder heat ranges, making them ideal for high-performance and modified engines.
