This Longacre Universal Low Oil Pressure Switch is designed to provide a reliable warning system for monitoring your vehicle's oil pressure.

• Featuring a fixed 20 Psi switch, this silver unit can be easily connected via a single spade connector and installed into the engine block using an appropriate thread adaptor (available separately).
• The switch features a 1/8" NPT thread for ease of installation.

To set the adjustable pressure switch, simply remove the rubber plug located at the top of the sender. At the bottom of the hole is a hex nut which can be adjusted using a 7/32 allen wrench.

• To increase the pressure setting, turn the nut clockwise and to lower it, turn counter-clockwise.
• Once the desired setting has been reached, replace the rubber plug to secure the setting.

A convenient method of adjusting the switch is to turn the engine over without starting it. With the starter-ignition off, the oil or fuel pressure will rise slowly, allowing you to accurately observe the set point at which the light goes out.

• Make any necessary adjustments and retest until you achieve your desired setting.
• Remember, if you attempt to make these adjustments with the motor running the pressure will rise too quickly, making it difficult to determine the precise set point.
