Longacre Universal Low Oil Pressure Switch - Adjustable 0-50 Psi

Longacre's universal low oil pressure switch is designed for use with a range of automotive engines.

This adjustable switch offers a pressure range from 0 to 50 Psi (default setting is at 20 Psi).

It features a single spade connector for easy installation.

To fit the switch into your engine block, you can choose from a selection of thread adaptors (sold separately).

This long-lasting switch comes with a 1/8" NPT thread for added versatility.

To adjust the pressure setting, simply remove the rubber plug at the top of the sender. You'll find a hex nut at the bottom.

Use a 7/32 Allen wrench to make your desired adjustments. Turn clockwise to increase pressure or counter-clockwise to lower it.

Once you've set your preferred pressure, replace the rubber plug.

To ensure accurate pressure setting, we recommend turning the motor over with the starter-ignition off.

This way, the oil or fuel pressure will rise slowly, allowing you to observe the switch's response.

Note the pressure at which the light goes out and adjust as necessary.

If you attempt to make this adjustment while the engine is running, the pressure change may be too rapid, making it difficult to determine the exact set point.

For best results, we suggest performing this process in a controlled environment such as on a mechanic's lift or in a garage.
