  • Recirculating Valve: Most factory-fitted cars come equipped with a recirculating blow-off/dump valve, which discreetly returns excess pressurised air back into the inlet. While it remains quiet, this valve ensures compatibility with increased boost pressure.
  • Atmospheric Valve: For those seeking a more distinctive sound, our atmospheric valve releases built-up pressure to atmosphere, producing the iconic 'whoosh' associated with turbocharged engines. However, please note that some modern engines may not be compatible with this option without additional modifications.
When accelerating on a turbocharged vehicle, the pressurised air needs an efficient outlet to avoid causing turbo lag or even stalling when you release the throttle.
