The Canton Accusump Oil Pressure Accumulator (Reservoir) is a cutting-edge oil reservoir designed to provide protection from dry start scuffing and engine damage during demanding racing discharges. This innovative device is connected to the engine's oil system, delivering oil to the engine before starting to eliminate dry start scuffing and providing additional oil whenever the normal engine oil pressure drops.

The Accusump is easy to install using a single line from either an oil cooler or remote filter with a "T" fitting, input sandwich plate adaptor, or directly into one of the engine's oil galleries. It fills and discharges as needed, working in conjunction with one of three valve options: the manual ball valve for pre-oiling and surge control, electric valve for pre-oil operation, or the EPC (Electric Pressure Control) valve for pre-oil and surge control.

A simple twist or flick of a switch allows the reserve of pressurized oil to pre-oil the engine's bearings for a non-scuff start. Once the engine starts, the oil builds pressure, and it is pumped back into the Accusump for the next restart or whenever the engine's normal oil pressure drops.

The Accusump's unique design enables it to charge and discharge as required, maintaining pressure under various circumstances. It is available in different capacities:

• 3 Quart High Pressure Accusump: Designed specifically for big cubic capacity competition engines or engines that operate at high oil pressures (100 PSI+), featuring a 4 1/4" diameter x 22" long.
• 3 Quart Accusump: Ideal for V8 and high horsepower V6 and 4-cylinder engines, with a 4 1/4" diameter x 16" long.
• 2 Quart Accusump: Suitable for 4 or 6-cylinder engines as well as pre-oiling for all other engines, featuring a 4 1/4" diameter x 12" long.
• 1 Quart Accusump: Ideal for motorcycle engines or pre-oiling all other engines, with a 3 1/4" diameter x 12" long.
