Canton Accusump Oil Pressure Accumulators (Reservoir) / Pre-Oiler - 1 Quart, 3 1/4 Inch Diameter 12 Inch Long

The Canton Accusump is a highly effective oil reservoir designed to provide an engine with the necessary oil pressure before starting, thereby eliminating dry start scuffing and protecting the engine from damage during demanding racing discharges.

This innovative product is connected to the engine's oil system and serves as a buffer against abnormal oil pressure drops, ensuring that the engine operates smoothly and efficiently.

The Accusump is installed through a single line using either an oil cooler or remote filter with a "T" fitting, sandwich plate adaptor, or directly into one of the engine's oil galleries. Once installed, the Accusump fills and discharges as required, making it an essential component for maintaining optimal engine performance.

To ensure seamless operation, the Canton Accusump is used in conjunction with one of three valve options: the manual ball valve for pre-oiling and surge control, the electric valve for pre-oiling operation, or the EPC (Electric Pressure Control) valve for pre-oiling and surge control. With a simple twist or flick of a switch, the valve can be operated before starting the engine, allowing the reserve of pressurized oil to provide a non-scuff start.

As the engine begins to operate, the oil builds pressure, and the Accusump pumps the oil back into its reservoir for the next restart or whenever the normal engine oil pressure drops. Its unique design enables it to charge and discharge as needed, maintaining pressure under various circumstances.

The Canton Accusump is available in four configurations, each designed to cater to specific engine requirements:

• The 3 Quart High Pressure Accusump (4 1/4" diameter x 22" long) is designed specifically for big cubic capacity competition engines or engines operating at high oil pressures (100 psi+).
• The 3 Quart Accusump (4 1/4" diameter x 16" long) is ideal for V8 and high horsepower V6 and 4 cylinder engines.
• The 2 Quart Accusump (4 1/4" diameter x 12" long) is suitable for 4 or 6 cylinder engines, as well as pre-oiling for all other engines.
• The 1 Quart Accusump (3 1/4" diameter x 12" long) is ideal for motorcycle engines or pre-oiling all other engines.
