Please be aware that sports cats are not road legal in vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless they are ECE 103R approved. Fitting a De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle intended for use on UK roads will cause it to fail the MOT emissions test, rendering it unroadworthy and illegal.

It is also important to note that replacing your stock catalytic converter may require a remap, as the ECU will receive different readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust, which could result in an error. Upgraded cats are typically part of the highest-performing upgrade packages.
