Note:
- - Sports cats cannot be used legally on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 for public road use unless type ECE 103R approved (identified by '103R' in the exhaust product title). Fitting a De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle intended for road use will result in MOT failure and render it unroadworthy.
- - Installing these converters usually requires a remap, as the ECU receives different readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust which may cause errors. A high-performing upgrade package typically includes an upgraded cat.
- - Warranty details: Aluminised Exhausts - 18 months for first purchaser; Stainless Exhausts - limited lifetime for original vehicle and owner; Custom Parts - no added warranty (replacement for proven defects only); Direct Fit Catalyst - 3 years; Air Filters - 12 months for first purchaser. Warranties are non-transferable.
