With its ability to connect to various vehicle ECUs, it provides access to an extensive range of sensor data for straightforward installation. If your specific ECU protocol is not supported, you can utilize the built-in ECU Driver Builder found within Race Studio 3 Software.

The advanced GPS technology employed in this unit has been upgraded to receive data from three satellite constellations: GPS, Glonass, and Galileo, significantly enhancing data speed and positioning accuracy. Consequently, the device's start-up time is considerably reduced, and lap times are measured with an exceptional precision of up to two hundredths of a second.

The Solo 2 DL features seven distinct backlight colours for user customization to accommodate various driving conditions. The high contrast display ensures that critical data is easily discernible.

Upon powering on, the Solo 2 DL identifies its location using its extensive pre-loaded database of over 1,000 global tracks. If your particular track is not recognized, it autonomously enters auto-learning mode and constructs the track layout based on car position data while simultaneously recording lap times.

The enhanced GPS technology also improves predictive lap timing reliability, allowing for real-time comparison of current laps against previous bests. The LEDs can be configured to deliver visual feedback regarding quicker or slower performance relative to your best lap. Additionally, the Solo 2 DL introduces a theoretical lap timing mode that assembles sector times to present an optimal overall lap time that could potentially be achieved. Timing information is displayed in a delta format for accurate representation of time differences from your best lap.

The Solo 2 DL is versatile, catering not only to circuit racing but also to point-to-point events and performance tests such as 0-60 mph. Post-session analysis is available immediately after completion.

This DL version offers additional inputs to extract data from the vehicle's ECU. Connection procedures are straightforward - choose between OBDII or CAN/RS232 channels depending on your requirements. The available ECU driver library currently encompasses approximately 3,000 different ECUs, both stock and racing for various car and motorcycle models.

The Solo 2 DL now includes a coil RPM input that accommodates square wave signals (8-50 V each) or pulse signals (150-450 V ignition coil trigger - primary circuit).

In addition to its onboard capabilities, the Solo 2 DL boasts built-in Wi-Fi for seamless transfer of data to a laptop or computer up to 50m away, without requiring connectors or cables. This facilitates easy importation into the Race Studio 3 software for comprehensive analysis.
