About the Honda Civic EG/EH/EJ

Manufactured for five years up to 1995 the fifth generation Honda Civic was larger and curvier yet lighter than its predecessor.

Transmission options included a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual in the front-engine front-wheel driven compact car.

This Civic iteration was available as a two-door coupe (EJ1/EJ2), a three-door hatchback (EH2/EH3) or a four-door sedan (EG8/EH9).

Predominantly powered by a 1.5 ltr inline-four producing 102 Hp the larger 1.6 ltr VTEC engine output 125 Hp; a base model 1.3 plus a larger 1.8 ltr option also existed.
